Coding sessions need a native way to keep working until a stated completion condition is actually met. This adds a CLI /goal command, goal state and evaluator logic, and a headless-safe command filter so interactive and print-mode runs can both start a goal and continue when the evaluator says more work remains.
Constraint: The evaluator must work with saved third-party provider runtimes that may reject structured output schemas.

Desktop repository launches now defer isolated worktree creation until the
first user turn so the CLI owns worktree setup, cwd initialization, and
session metadata. The chat UI surfaces the pre-startup Git phase so users see
when a session is creating a worktree or switching a branch before model
output begins.

Computer Use is useful when explicitly needed, but exposing its MCP tools by default creates unnecessary desktop-control surface for users who want coding-only sessions. This adds a shared disable path for CLI flags, environment, and desktop settings while keeping preauthorized app state in one config file.
The same change also preserves Windows and WSL shell startup behavior by applying the MSYS argument-conversion guard only on WSL-bound launches.

Desktop sessions could show MCP configuration in the UI while the CLI SDK child process still started cold on the first user message. Start eligible desktop chat sessions as soon as their websocket is connected, keep init metadata cached but muted, and wait briefly for MCP startup in SDK print mode so turn one sees the tools.
Constraint: Desktop wraps the existing CLI SDK bridge rather than owning MCP startup directly.

Desktop-managed sessions were blocking the first visible token on slow or failing
regular MCP connections, which made the UI feel much slower than direct bin runs.
This keeps partial assistant streaming enabled for desktop sessions and moves
regular MCP connection work off the critical path only for sdk-url startup.
