0a82efdcd9 fix: keep desktop permission prompts visible
Desktop notification permission can appear granted while macOS still suppresses a foreground banner, so blocking permission prompts now also request OS-level window attention. The notification sender keeps the native notification path, but prompt callers can ask the window manager for attention when silence would block user progress.

The desktop package also declares the existing qrcode runtime dependency used by AdapterSettings so production desktop builds can resolve that import.

Constraint: Tauri window attention requires an explicit capability grant in packaged builds.
Constraint: macOS may suppress foreground notification banners even when notification APIs report success.
Rejected: Replace native notifications with a custom in-app sound or overlay | the notification feature should stay OS-owned and already has an in-app permission card.
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: narrow
Directive: Keep requestAttention limited to blocking prompts unless another flow truly needs persistent OS attention.

fa5fda24d0 feat: notify users when desktop attention is needed
Add native system notifications as a desktop-wide attention channel for permission prompts and scheduled task completion. The implementation keeps notification presentation owned by the OS, adds a user-facing enable switch with permission handling, and lets scheduled tasks choose desktop notifications without routing that channel through IM adapters.

Constraint: Notifications must use OS-native APIs without custom sound playback.
Constraint: Desktop channel is local-only and must not be sent through IM adapter delivery.
Rejected: Browser Notification API | not reliable inside the packaged Tauri desktop runtime.
Rejected: Treat desktop as an IM channel | would leak a local-only channel into server-side adapter sending.
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate

f5cf5932b4 fix: keep workspace changes and session checkpoints reliable
The desktop workspace panel and chat transcript were mixing project-level file state with per-turn session history, which made rewind, file attachment, and changed-file previews brittle across multi-turn and historical sessions. This keeps turn checkpoints durable in the transcript, makes workspace refreshes happen at the right lifecycle points, and hardens long file previews without blocking the UI.

Constraint: Right-side workspace changes are project working-tree state, while chat turn cards are session checkpoint state.
Rejected: Treat every changed-file panel entry as session-local | new sessions must still reveal existing dirty project files.
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate
Directive: Do not couple global workspace status to session checkpoint cards without preserving both product meanings.

Constraint: CLI 侧最稳定的文件上下文入口仍是原生 @文件路径
Constraint: 聊天 UI 不能把绝对路径裸露成用户消息正文

bc93493ed1 Prevent desktop rewind from trimming the wrong turn
Desktop rewind previously used the visible user-message index as the primary selector. That can drift from the persisted active chain when hidden or non-rendered user messages exist, so the API now prefers a stable user message id and checks the selected prompt text before mutating transcript or files.

Constraint: Desktop UI can hide transcript entries that still exist in the persisted session chain
Rejected: Keep index-only rewind | can target an earlier user message after UI/server chain drift
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate
Directive: Do not remove targetUserMessageId or expectedContent guards without reproducing shifted visible-index sessions

1631c449f6 fix: tighten desktop slash command edge cases
Desktop slash command handling needed a few follow-up guards after adding
CLI parity. Bare /clear remains a local desktop reset, but /clear with
arguments is rejected instead of silently discarding user text. Clear also
resets cached slash commands, compact boundaries preserve CLI-provided text,
and the help panel now discloses when the More section is truncated.

Constraint: Preserve the desktop /clear fast path without accepting accidental arguments
Rejected: Let /clear arguments fall through to the CLI | the CLI command still clears context and would keep the footgun
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: narrow
Directive: Keep desktop-local slash command guards in sync with CLI command argument semantics

caa164b62c fix: make desktop slash commands behave like the CLI
Desktop had no reliable handling for common local slash commands, so
commands like /clear, /help, /context, /cost, and /compact either looked
unresponsive or lost their CLI-specific side effects. This routes desktop
commands by behavior: local panels stay local, stateful clear resets the
session transcript, and CLI-local outputs are rendered in chat.

Constraint: Preserve existing CLI semantics for prompt, local, local-jsx, and compact slash commands

761031c036 fix: Make desktop MCP tools ready before first turn
Desktop sessions could show MCP configuration in the UI while the CLI SDK child process still started cold on the first user message. Start eligible desktop chat sessions as soon as their websocket is connected, keep init metadata cached but muted, and wait briefly for MCP startup in SDK print mode so turn one sees the tools.

Constraint: Desktop wraps the existing CLI SDK bridge rather than owning MCP startup directly.

773a8a703f Keep desktop chats on the selected provider/model
The desktop model picker now stores a session-scoped provider/model selection instead of relying on the global active provider. That selection is replayed on connect, passed into the CLI startup path, and preserved across turns until the user changes it again.

To make that true end-to-end, the server now restarts the session process when runtime selection changes, injects provider-scoped env for third-party providers, and routes proxy traffic by provider id. The selector UI was also tightened so provider grouping stays visible while the actual model choice remains readable.

Constraint: Different providers can expose the same model id, so chat runtime selection cannot be derived from model id alone
Constraint: A desktop session reuses one CLI subprocess across turns, so runtime changes must restart that process to take effect
Rejected: Keep using Settings active provider as the chat selector | conflates defaults with live session state and breaks overlapping models
Rejected: UI-only runtime switching without server restart | later turns would continue using the old CLI subprocess configuration
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate

90c3db1790 Prevent task-progress updates from corrupting streamed reply formatting
Desktop chat currently reuses one status channel for assistant streaming and
background task progress. When a task update arrived mid-turn, the store
flushed the in-flight markdown into a completed message, which caused the
remaining deltas to render as a second bubble and broke markdown styling.

Keep the reply in streaming state until the turn actually becomes idle, and
lock the behavior with a regression test that injects task progress between
text deltas.

Constraint: Background task progress currently shares the same status channel as assistant streaming
Rejected: Retune markdown renderer styles | would hide the symptom without preserving message integrity

28f36da0fd Reduce extension setup friction inside desktop settings
The desktop app already had solid session streaming, permission, and tool-rendering flows, but extension setup still forced users into manual forms or external shell work. This change adds an Install Center in Settings that reuses the session chat pipeline for natural-language installs, adds installer-specific guidance for plugin and skill URLs, and includes an agent-browser E2E script for real UI validation.

Constraint: Must reuse the existing session/chat execution path instead of introducing a second install runtime
Constraint: Plugin installs need real CLI commands while skill installs may come from published install commands on third-party pages
Rejected: Separate terminal-only install surface | duplicates session UX and weakens permission/tool visibility
Rejected: Pure form-based installer expansion | too much friction for plugin, MCP, and skill onboarding

044e9b6cc8 Make desktop rewind restore both transcript state and file checkpoints
The desktop client already had a conversation-level rewind UI concept on the
CLI side, but the web/desktop surface lacked the protocol, session trimming,
and file checkpoint restore path needed to make rewind trustworthy. This change
adds a desktop-specific rewind API, wires the message-level UI affordance and
confirmation modal, enables SDK file checkpointing for desktop sessions, and
covers the restore path with service tests plus a real agent-browser workflow.

Constraint: Desktop sessions run the CLI in SDK/print mode, so file checkpointing had to be enabled explicitly for that path
Constraint: main branch is checked out in a separate worktree, so merge-back must happen from the primary worktree after commit
Rejected: UI-only rewind that only trims local state | would leave persisted transcript and disk state inconsistent after refresh
Rejected: Reuse getLastSessionLog as the sole snapshot source | active rewind must read file-history metadata directly from the session file
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate
Reversibility: clean
Directive: Keep desktop rewind keyed to persisted user-message order unless the UI model starts carrying stable transcript UUIDs end-to-end
Tested: bun test src/server/__tests__/conversation-service.test.ts src/server/__tests__/sessions.test.ts; desktop MessageList vitest; desktop tsc no-emit; live agent-browser E2E on isolated ports with file edit then rewind

16d716e773 fix: keep completed task lists from leaking into the next turn
Completed desktop task bars were only being dismissed locally, which let the
persisted task list resurface on refresh or bleed into the next user turn.
This wires the existing server-side reset path into the desktop stores and
session flow so a finished task cycle is summarized once, cleared locally,
and removed remotely before the next round starts.

Constraint: Existing task persistence already lives behind the server task-list API and must stay compatible with persisted JSON task files
Rejected: Only hide the completed task bar in UI state | left stale persisted tasks behind and reintroduced them on reload
Rejected: Clear desktop state without a task summary | dropped useful completion context from the chat transcript
Confidence: high

0d3933c2c9 Keep desktop AskUserQuestion flows from stalling in plan mode
Desktop chat was rendering AskUserQuestion twice: once as an inline question card and again as a generic permission request. That split also dropped the structured answers on the floor because the websocket permission_response shape only carried allow/deny state.

This change keeps AskUserQuestion on the permission pipeline end-to-end. The desktop websocket contract now carries toolUseId and updatedInput, AskUserQuestion submits answers through permission_response, and the generic permission card is suppressed for that tool so the user sees a single question flow.

Constraint: AskUserQuestion answers must round-trip through updatedInput.answers for the CLI tool contract to complete
Rejected: Leave AskUserQuestion as a plain chat reply in desktop | the tool never receives structured answers and the pending approval UI remains stuck
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: narrow
Reversibility: clean

eaa4a8435a Keep CLI task state aligned with the active session
The desktop task bar used a single global task store, but session switches
could leave it pointed at the previous conversation. Re-entering an already
connected session skipped task refresh entirely, and changing task list IDs did
not clear stale tasks before the next fetch resolved.

This change refreshes CLI tasks on every session activation, clears stale task
state immediately when the tracked session changes, and locks that behavior
with regression tests around reconnect and cross-session task isolation.

Constraint: The current desktop task bar architecture uses one shared CLI task store across sessions
Rejected: Per-session task store refactor | too broad for a targeted bug fix

5cd6b5d07b Prevent desktop Computer Use from stalling on missing approvals and unstable text input
Desktop sessions were missing a visible request_access approval path and could
mis-detect their own app window as an unapproved frontmost target, which caused
Computer Use clicks to fail even after opening the intended app. On macOS, text
entry was also split across inconsistent clipboard and keystroke paths, making
Electron inputs unreliable for Chinese and short strings.

This change adds a desktop approval bridge over the existing session websocket,
renders a dedicated desktop approval modal, threads the real desktop bundle id
into the Computer Use executor, and switches macOS clipboard typing onto the
native pasteboard plus system paste shortcut path. It also makes tool error
results expandable in the desktop chat UI so frontmost-gate failures are fully
visible during debugging.

Constraint: Desktop sessions run the CLI over the SDK websocket path, so Ink tool JSX dialogs are not visible there
Constraint: macOS IME and Electron text inputs are unreliable with pyautogui.write and generic hotkey synthesis
Rejected: Reuse CLI setToolJSX dialogs in desktop mode | no transport for mid-call Ink UI over the SDK bridge
Rejected: Keep shell pbcopy/pbpaste for clipboard typing | inconsistent with NSPasteboard path and less reliable for Chinese text

9d29d8e32c Keep desktop replies stable across turns and fix OAuth callback routing
The desktop chat store was dropping the previous assistant draft when a new user turn began because streaming text was cleared before it was flushed into message history. At the same time, the desktop OAuth flow was using an unregistered /api/haha-oauth/callback redirect URI, which caused provider authorization failures. This change flushes visible assistant drafts before starting a new turn, restores the OAuth redirect to the registered localhost callback, and adds a root callback handler while keeping the legacy API callback path compatible.

Constraint: The OAuth provider only accepts the registered localhost /callback redirect URI
Rejected: Keep the desktop-specific /api/haha-oauth/callback path | provider rejects unsupported redirect URIs

91b4d16dc5 Restore sub-agent context in the desktop chat transcript
The desktop chat view flattened Agent tool activity, which made sub-agent work
hard to follow and separated key evidence from the main conversation. This
change threads parent tool linkage through the server bridge and desktop store,

da3d51b006 fix: suppress sticky TaskBar on page refresh when tasks already dismissed
When all tasks were completed and the user continued chatting, the inline
task summary was shown correctly. But on page refresh, loadHistory and
fetchSessionTasks would re-populate the task store, making the sticky bar
reappear.

- Add completedAndDismissed flag to cliTaskStore
- Detect user messages after last task tool call in history (V1 + V2)
- SessionTaskBar skips render when allCompleted && completedAndDismissed
- refreshTasks/setTasksFromTodos reset the flag for new task activity
- Fix InlineTaskSummary width to match parent container

7183cc85fe fix: enable task/plan display for WebApp sessions using TodoWrite
The CLI subprocess runs in --print (non-interactive) mode, which disabled
V2 task tools (TaskCreate/TaskUpdate). Only TodoWrite was available, but
the frontend only tracked V2 tool names for task refresh — so the Tasks
bar never appeared for new WebApp sessions.

Changes:
- Set CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_TASKS=1 in CLI subprocess env to enable V2 tasks
- Add TodoWrite to TASK_TOOL_NAMES for backward compat with V1 sessions
- Parse TodoWrite input.todos directly into TaskBar state (no disk read)
- Extract last TodoWrite from history on session load for V1 sessions
- Inline completed task summary into message flow when user continues chat
(sticky TaskBar converts to scrollable inline summary)

f9c42c3b40 feat: Tauri desktop app with sidecar, brand identity, and CORS fix
- Add Tauri sidecar architecture: Rust shell spawns claude-server binary,
dynamic port allocation, health-check wait loop, graceful shutdown
- Fix CORS middleware to accept `tauri://localhost` and `https://tauri.localhost`
origins from Tauri WebView, and add CORS headers to /health endpoint
- Enable native macOS window decorations (traffic lights) with Overlay title bar,
add data-tauri-drag-region on sidebar for window dragging
- Conditionally apply desktop-only padding (44px for traffic lights) vs web (12px)
- Generate brand identity: light-background app icon, horizontal logo, full icon
  set (icns/ico/png) for Tauri bundle
- Add brand mark + GitHub link in sidebar, replace mascot SVG with app icon
  in EmptySession page
- Update README (zh/en) and docs hero image with new branding
- Add sidecar build scripts and launcher entry points
- Gitignore Rust target/, Tauri gen/, and brand-assets candidates

9b74e064c7 refactor: move task tracking from standalone page into session bottom bar
Remove the separate Tasks sidebar page (wrong concept — was showing
scheduled tasks). Instead, display CLI task progress as a sticky bar
at the bottom of the active session, matching the official desktop app
behavior. Tasks are refreshed in real-time by detecting TaskCreate/
TaskUpdate tool_result messages over WebSocket.

767abfc233 fix: restore tool calls on page refresh — handle server type mapping
Server marks assistant messages with tool_use blocks as type='tool_use'
(not 'assistant'), and user messages with tool_result blocks as
type='tool_result' (not 'user'). mapHistoryMessagesToUiMessages now
handles both type variants when parsing content arrays, so tool calls
are properly restored after page refresh.

5e71da88c3 fix: preserve intermediate text between tool calls, restore thinking blocks on refresh
Two bugs fixed:

1. Intermediate assistant text (e.g. "项目已经有 node_modules,直接启动") was
lost between tool calls because content_start didn't flush streamingText.
Now we flush accumulated text as assistant_text before switching to the
   next content block.

2. History reload (page refresh) now restores thinking blocks alongside
tool_use, tool_result, and text blocks. Previously thinking blocks were
intentionally dropped — now they're preserved for full conversation replay.

83559ce7be feat: sync CLI status (verb, elapsed, tokens) to StreamingIndicator
- Store statusVerb from server 'status' WebSocket messages
- StreamingIndicator now shows the real CLI verb (Canoodling, Thinking, etc.)
plus elapsed time and output token count
- Only show StreamingIndicator during tool_executing (not during thinking,
  where ThinkingBlock already provides feedback)

993b96cd39 Stabilize the desktop transcript so long agent sessions stay readable
The desktop app now keeps the composer stable while turns are active,
reduces low-signal tool noise in the transcript, restores project context
under the composer after session creation, and relies on the CLI's own
permission requests instead of injecting broader desktop-side Bash asks.

This also brings in the supporting desktop app source tree and the server
routes/session metadata needed for git info, filesystem browsing, session
resume, slash commands, and SDK-backed permission bridging so the UI can
operate as a coherent feature instead of a partial patch.

Constraint: Desktop transcript needs to stay usable during long multi-tool sessions without hiding file-change diffs
Constraint: Permission prompts must mirror CLI behavior closely enough that read-only commands do not get desktop-only prompts
Rejected: Keep rendering Read/Bash bodies inline | too noisy and unlike the intended transcript model
Rejected: Commit only the touched desktop files | would leave the newly introduced desktop app incomplete in git history
Confidence: medium
Scope-risk: broad
Reversibility: messy
Directive: Treat non-writing tools as summary-first transcript events; do not re-expand them by default without validating the UX against long sessions
Tested: cd desktop && bun run lint
Tested: cd desktop && bun run test -- --run
Tested: bun test src/server/__tests__/conversations.test.ts
Not-tested: Manual visual regression against the exact screenshots in a live desktop session
Not-tested: Full root TypeScript check (repository still has unrelated extracted-native parse failures)
